Isuzu Recalls Amigo SUVs

Isuzu has issued a recall for more than 11,000 of its SUVs because parts in the rear suspension may rust and break away from the frame.

The recall was issued for the Amigo SUVs from model years 1998 to 2001 and Rodeo Sport SUVs from model years 2001 and 2002, according to the Associated Press. The carmaker said that the rear suspension link brackets can rust and become detached from the frame, which may harm the vehicle’s handling and cause an accident.

Isuzu has not received any reports of adverse events related to the recall.
