An Iowa woman has filed a product liability lawsuitagainst the Jimmy John’s restaurant chain, claiming the company served unsafe food to customers.

According to the Associated Press, Heather Tuttle alleges she ate a turkey sandwich from a Jimmy John’s in West Des Moines, Iowa and became ill soon after. She claims that she experienced weeks of excruciating diarrhea and cramps that required medical treatment for E. coli poisoning.

Eleven other patients have been linked to contaminated raw sprouts from the chain restaurant. Jimmy John’s has been linked to four other outbreaks since 2008 involving raw sprouts, according to the complaint,

Tuttle seeks damages for pain and suffering.
