Pella Corp. agreed to settle a six-year-old class-action lawsuit filed over alleged faults in some of its windows.

The proposed settlement covers consumers throughout the U.S. who purchased ProLine casement, awning, and transom windows manufactured by Pella from 1991 to 2006, according to the Chicago Tribune. The company will compensate eligible consumers between $750 and $6,000 as well as provide benefits past the warranty for those whose windows may suffer wood rot in the future, according to court documents.

As a part of the settlement, Pella did not admit that its products were defective.
