AT&T Sued For Data Throttling
AT&T has been sued in a consumer fraud lawsuit by a man claiming the company unfairly slowed down his phone in an attempt to manage his data usage, even though he had purchased an “unlimited data” plan. According to Associated Press , Matt Spaccarelli took his case to small claims court and claimed that his phone's data was being throttled - or intentionally slowed down - after he used anywhere from 1.5 gigabytes to 2 gigabytes of data within a billing cycle.
