As part of their Christmas activities, South Caernarfon Creameries has raised £475 for MacMillan Nurses. The farmer co-operative undertook a variety of charity events to raise the funds including a Christmas raffle and tickets for a ‘Cheese and Wine Cellar’ that was held at the staff Christmas party.

“Every year we hold an annual Christmas Raffle specifically to raise funds for a charity and each year the staff choose a different charity” said Haf Williams of South Caernarfon Creameries. “MacMillan Nurses is a fantastic charity that some of the staff have a personal connection so we were pleased to help raise funds for such an important cause. Macmillan Nurses provide a vital service especially for a rural community like ours.”

“We are extremely grateful to everyone who took part or who donated a raffle prize, in particular Larch Ltd, GAP Personnel, Parkwells, CHR Hansens, Cwrw Llyn, Commcem, Anglesey Commercial Spares, Imperial Commercials.”

South Caernarfon Creameries recently presented a cheque to Eleri Brady, Fundraising Manager of North Wales for MacMillan Nurses.
