Four new Compotes for Caterers
Opies has just announced the launch of a new foodservice range of fruit compotes which offer the ideal solution for caterers who are looking for a high quality compote to use as a shortcut in baking, in desserts or to serve with breakfast.
There are four flavours in the range which include;
Raspberry Compote – a glossy red compote with raspberry seeds with a sweet and tangy flavour
Apricot Compote – a luxurious compote with apricot pieces
Black Cherry Compote – a dark, rich red compote with chunky cherry pieces
Mixed Berry Compote – a sharp, tangy compote with strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants
The selection offers an abundance of choice for a range of palettes and dishes. Each compote is suitable for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs and contain no artificial colourings, flavourings, additives or preservatives. The versatile fruit preserves have the added convenience of ambient storage and a long shelf life and are packed into food grade 1.25kg jar with resealable lid. Once opened, they can be kept for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
The new Fruit Compotes further complements Opies Foodservice offer which also includes olives, capers, peppercorns, gherkins, chutneys, ginger, pickles and cocktail products. The Opies range is available from specialist wholesalers, cash & carries and specialist Catering Suppliers.
