Bennett Opie has announced that they have sponsored a second freshwater well in Uganda. Bennett Opie’s Jele Well is found in the Olio Sub County, located in Serere district in North Eastern Uganda where access to water was extremely limited.Prior to the installation of the well, the nearest water source for this community was located 1.5km away. The Bennett Opie Well will provide clean fresh water for 160 households, and an estimated 1400 people.
