Lingham’s Extra Hot Chilli Sauce now available in Tesco
Bennett Opie, who exclusively distribute Lingham’s Chilli Sauce has further extended the listing with Lingham’s Extra Hot Chilli Sauce now being stocked at Tesco stores nationwide.
The Extra Hot sauce is a new line for Lingham’s who recognised a gap and created a sauce dedicated to the ultimate chilli connoisseur who likes their food with a little extra kick. Unlike many commercial competitor brands, Lingham’s is an all-natural sauce made with fresh chillies and three additional ingredients – sugar, vinegar and salt. It contains no preservatives, colouring matter, artificial flavours or bulking material like tomato puree. The Extra Hot Chilli Sauce has been carefully developed, derived from a base ingredient of Birds Eye Chillies which delivers an intense heat rather than a ‘burn’. The sauce retains a fresh flavour but still has intense depth - meaning that a little will go a long way!
Chilli Sauce is becoming increasingly popular when used as an ingredient, condiment or as an alternative to traditional breakfast sauces with many using it to spice up a traditional full English!
Lingham’s Extra Hot Chilli Sauce is available from Tesco RSP £1.69 for a 358g bottle. In store, this listing will complement the existing range of Original Chilli Sauce and Ginger Garlic Chilli Sauce.

Lingham’s has been making chilli sauce since 1908 during the British Colonial era and was specifically aimed at the English palette to provide them with a unique, versatile, sweet and spicy sauce. The same secret recipe is used today and is derived from a secret blend of just 4 ingredients - red chilli, sugar, vinegar and salt. The sauce is made in a modern, fully automated factory in Semenyih, Selangor.
