Today is the first day of trading in ABAS Protect AB. The company develops, manufactures and sells area protection to industry, public administrations and private individuals.

ABAS Protect was founded in 1925 as Gottfrid Svenssons Stängselfabrik in Hunnabo. The company focuses on developing, manufacturing and selling area protection to industry, public administrations, but also to private individuals. The product range includes gates, fences, and barriers. The company has a manufacturing unit in Poland, but the head office with assembly and some production is located in Ambjörnarp, just outside Tranemo. Through the new share issue and listing of the Company, the current owners expect to be able to strengthen ABAS's balance sheet so that an expansion of the market in which the Company operates is realistic to implement. The proceeds of the issue are intended to finance increased production facilities but also to establish sales in the rest of the Nordic region and Northern Europe.

“The success of the issue, despite am unsteady stock market during the autumn, shows that we have an attractive business plan and that the market believes in us. The issue gives us strengthened opportunities to continue our successful growth journey and we look forward with confidence to meeting the expectations of both old and new owners," comments Tomas Karlsson, CEO of ABAS Protect.

"Trading begins today in ABAS Protect, a highly innovative company that aims to continue growing in the international market. It will be exciting to follow their journey, welcome to Spotlight!" says Carl-Henrik Nordberg, Head of Listing, Spotlight.
