SRV agrees the sale of Kamppi Luola Oy

SRV Rakennus Oy has today signed a contract relating to the sale of the entire capital stock of Kampin Luola Oy to the Local Government Pensions Institution (Keva). Kampin Luola is the P-City underground parking facility located below the Kamppi Centre in Helsinki and it has around 500 parking places. At the same time, SRV is also selling its holding, granting entitlement to 100 parking places, in Oy Kamppiparkki Ab, which manages the Forum P parking facility. SRV's share of contract's total value is approximately EUR 32 million.

The transactions are part of a contractual arrangement, covering the sale of around 1,500 parking places, in which the capital stocks of Oy Kamppiparkki Ab and of Simonaukion Pysäköinti Oy, owned by the City of Helsinki, will also be sold.

”SRV has built and developed the Kamppi underground parking site, which opened in spring 2009, and has created a high quality facility. The new parking complex being created in the city centre will improve accessibility to business and private customer services in downtown Helsinki,” says SRV’s Senior Executive Vice President Juha Pekka Ojala.

The implementation of the arrangement is conditional on a decision relating to the project by the City of Helsinki’s Real Estate Committee, which will be made in January 2012.
