SRV Group Plc to renew its organisation and Corporate Executive Team

SRV Group Plc renews its organisation and Corporate Executive Team as of 1 January 2020. The change is part of the recovery programme, announced on 31 October 2019, focusing on organisation and organisational culture reformation, lightening the company’s balance sheet, strengthening cash flow, and cost savings. The change will not affect to the current reporting structure, which consists of Construction and Investments business areas.

“The restructuring of the organisational structure will clarify responsibilities and strengthen the creation of a new operating culture. Our goal is to improve the efficiency and quality of our operations while ensuring our future profitability,” says President and CEO Saku Sipola.

The new organisation consists of four business units and group functions. Business units are Business premises, regional units and infrastructure, Housing, Investments and Operations in Russia and Estonia.

Juha Toimela, who continues as a member of Corporate Executive Team and Executive Vice President, leads Business premises, regional units and infrastructure business unit.

As of 1 January 2020, Lic.Sc. (Tech.) Kim Jolkkonen has been appointed Senior Vice President, Housing business unit and a member of Corporate Executive Team. Jolkkonen, 48, has held project development director position in SRV since February 2019. Prior to that, he has acted as Real Estate Director in Kojamo Plc and CEO in FCG Design and Engineering Ltd.

Jarkko Rantala has been appointed Senior Vice President, Investments business unit. Rantala continues as a member of Corporate Executive Team.

As of 1 January 2020, Jussi Tuisku, BA, eMBA, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Operations in Russia and Estonia and a member of Corporate Executive Team. Tuisku, 52, has an extensive experience in managing business operations in Russia. He has held various management positions in Rautaruukki and YIT Groups in Russia and in Stockmann's Moscow operations.

In the new structure, the Group functions will include the following: strategic project development, finance and administration, legal affairs, communications and marketing, business development and internal services. Timo Nieminen, Executive Vice President, is responsible for the company's strategic project development. In the Group functions will continue Finance and Administration, led by Ilkka Pitkänen, Legal affairs, led by Johanna Metsä-Tokila, and Communications and marketing, led by Maija Karhusaari.

Antti Nummi, Master of Social Sciences, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Business development business unit and a member of Corporate Executive Team as of 1 January 2020. Nummi, 48, has been responsible for development of Energy and lifecycle services in SRV. Prior to that, he has been a management consultant and has held several commercial management positions in Renewable Energy Group Inc. and Neste Corporation.

Kimmo Kurki, BSc. (Eng.) has been appointed Senior Vice President, Internal services business unit and a member of Corporate Executive Team as of 1 January 2020. Kurki, 59, has acted as Director, Technical and internal services units in SRV Construction Ltd. Prior to that, he has held several management positions in production since 1998.

In the same context, the composition of the SRV Corporate Executive Team changes. New members of Corporate Executive Team are Kim Jolkkonen, Jussi Tuisku, Antti Nummi and Kimmo Kurki.
