First quarter 2003

Report for the First Quarter of 2003

Profit after financial items increased by SEK 232 million and amounted to SEK 414 (182) million. Earnings per share increased to SEK 2.85 (1.20).
Deliveries of the niche products, high-strength sheet and quenched steels, increased by 20% compared with the first quarter of last year.
Processing costs were at the same level as the final three quarters of the preceding year but 8% higher than during the first quarter of last year.
