Celebrate St Patrick’s Day on Thursday 17 March, 7.30pm with the St Patrick’s Singers, Locrian Ensemble and soloists Jean Kelly (harp), Dermot Crehan (violin) and Justin Pearson (cello).

This annual celebration at St Martin-in-the-Fields, with its imaginative and atmospheric programme, will be a fun, magical and very Irish celebration performed by these fine musicians. The programme includes Traditional Irish Melodies for Harp and String Orchestra by Ireland’s national composer the blind harpist Turlough O’Carolan, a performance of Julie Cooper’s Cariad, a Celtic lament for cello and strings and plenty of traditional Irish folk and classical music. NOTES TO EDITORS St Martin-in-the-Fields, with over 350 concerts a year, is one of the busiest music venues in the country.
