Celebrate St Patrick’s Day on Thursday 17 March, 7.30pm with the St Patrick’s Singers, Locrian Ensemble and soloists Jean Kelly (harp), Dermot Crehan (violin) and Justin Pearson (cello).This annual celebration at St Martin-in-the-Fields, with its imaginative and atmospheric programme, will be a fun, magical and very Irish celebration performed by these fine musicians. The programme includes Traditional Irish Melodies for Harp and String Orchestra by Ireland’s national composer the blind harpist Turlough O’Carolan, a performance of Julie Cooper’s Cariad, a Celtic lament for cello and strings

As the days become longer and London gets ready for spring, there are many evening concerts to look forward to in March.The Choral Scholars of St Martin-in-the-Fields, conducted by Andrew Earis, will present a celebration of music by the ‘English Orpheus’ Henry Purcell and England’s greatest twentieth century composer, Benjamin Britten, on Monday 7 March at 6.30pm.
