John Wick Chronicles VR game now available to pre-order, John Wick Weapon Pack to be released for PAYDAY 2
Starbreeze and Lionsgate to offer a first time, pre-order exclusive bundle of games, VR content and movies on the digital distribution platform Steam
Stockholm, Sweden and Santa Monica, Calif., October 6, 2016 – Starbreeze and Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF) today announced the pre-order availability of the highly anticipated VR first person shooter “John Wick Chronicles” for the HTC Vive VR headset. The game is set to launch in February 2017 on the digital distribution platform Steam. Building on the company’s previous collaborations where John Wick was introduced in the videogame PAYDAY 2, the DLC “John Wick Weapon Pack” was also announced today, to be released on Steam October 20th. Additionally, as one of the first major studios to offer movies on Steam, Lionsgate will offer the feature film John Wick as part of an exclusive US bundle.
For new and returning fans of John Wick and PAYDAY alike, the early offering for John Wick Chronicles offers great bonus content with two pre-order exclusive bundles:
- Pre-order John Wick Chronicles, PAYDAY 2 and the PAYDAY 2 DLC John Wick Weapon Pack all included for $19.99.
- Customers in the US can additionally pre-order John Wick Chronicles, get the original movie John Wick, PAYDAY 2 and the PAYDAY 2 DLC John Wick Weapon Pack all in the bundle for $29.99.
The John Wick Weapon Pack will be priced at $4.99, more details will be available closer to the release.
New York Comic Con attendees will be able to demo a 7-minute preview of the first mission of the VR game in HTC Vive, titled John Wick Chronicles: An Eye for an Eye, at the John Wick Chronicles booth at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, hall 1E, booth 1ECC6.
