Stena Line main partner to Volvo Ocean Race in Gothenburg
In June 2018 Gothenburg welcomes back the competing teams in the sailing competition Volvo Ocean Race. Stena Line is one of the main partners and will be hosting seminars, showcase our offers and offer ringside view of the start from Stena Scandinavica.

The stopover in Gothenburg is the final one before the last leg towards the Netherlands. The boats are expected to arrive in Gothenburg around the 14-15 June and on the 21 June they start the last leg to reach the finish line in The Hauge, Netherlands.
As main partner Stena Line arrange several activities from a business to business perspective as well as a business to consumer perspective. We will host two half day seminars with external guest speakers for invited customers and partners from both freight and travel. In the public event area, Race Village we will arrange the children area together with our partners like Legoland and The Reef as well as a lounge and stand displaying Stena Lines offers.
On the race day, June 21, Stena Scandinavica will act as the official spectator boat for the race and offer 700 invited guests, customers and partners a ringside view of the start outside Gothenburg.
