Stena Line Propeller Prize – awards for innovative entrepreneurs go to Life Finder Systems International and Cetasol

Stena Line proudly announces that the winners of the company’s Propeller Prize 2022 are Life Finder Systems International and Cetasol. Life Finder Systems International won in the category of digital communication technology, while the jury chose Cetasol as winners in the field of maritime technology. The companies are awarded with a prize money of 100.000 SEK each.

Life Finder Systems International produce intelligent alert systems that integrate seamlessly into workers everyday safety routines. Cetasol was chosen for its iHelm platform, an analytical tool for small and medium-sized ships to optimize energy consumption. Both companies convinced the jury not only with their business idea, but also a documented proof of concept and scalability.

Stena Line awards the Propeller Prize annually to companies of the Baltic Sea region that have existed for no longer than five years, that exemplify the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship and are committed to grow. With eight routes connecting 14 ports in six countries, Stena Line is a driving force (latin: propellare) for growth, trade and cross-border exchange around the Baltic Sea. The Propeller Prize shall encourage companies that are relatively new to the market and promote partnerships, to enrich and further develop the good business climate in the region.

The prizes were awarded during the annual event Innovation Day of the Blue Science Park in Karlskrona. Blue Science Park is a business cluster with more than 80 members. Blue Science Park concentrates and connects scientific research with innovative businesses and public organisations in order to speed up innovation and digital transformation in business and societies.
