Studsvik to restructure its Consultancy Services business area

Studsvik has decided to restructure the Consultancy Services business area, which will be focused on our technical platforms for conditioning and volume reduction of radioactive waste. The restructuring means that only consultancy operations linked to the sale of licenses will be retained.

The operations in England will include partnership in and services related to the low-level waste repository in Cumbria. The decision entails a substantial staff reduction in England.

In connection with the new business approach, the business area will change its name to Studsvik Waste Management Technology.
