Strong growth for cool roof paint containing Quartzene[®] – French customer places regular orders
Svenska Aerogel is once again sending an order – this time for 720 kg of Quartzene® – to its returning French customer Renovcoat. Renovcoat sells cool roof paint containing Quartzene® in the French and African markets. The company is now gaining market share in France, and the number of installed square meters is steadily increasing.
Svenska Aerogel now delivers Quartzene® to Renovcoat on a regular basis. Renovcoat uses the material for reflection and insulation in its cool roof paint, as Quartzene® offers excellent insulating properties and a high SRI (solar reflectance index). Renovcoat has applied Roofflect Therm, their cool roof paint containing Quartzene®, to several tens of thousands square meters of roofs. These roofs belong to various types of buildings, ranging from industrial facilities to school buildings. Additionally, Renovcoat is currently exploring new applications for the material, which shows that the company sees great potential in Quartzene®.
