Svenska Aerogel receives repeat order for Quartzene
Italian Barozzi Vernici S.r.l. has placed a second order to meet demand for thermo insulating plasters based on Quartzene
Heating and cooling of buildings represent 36% of the total CO2 footprint in Europe. The demands from the EU have increased through the new revised Building Directive (EPBD) and the member states will have to establish stronger long-term renovation strategies to lower the CO2 emissions and energy consumption. This will be accomplished by introducing complementary innovative techniques, where thermal insulating plasters and coatings will come to play important roles.
“We are convinced that Quartzene will contribute in these efforts and that this segment will be rewarding. Our cooperation with Barozzi is therefore deepened and we look forward to take part of this growing market. We will use our network of distributors and industrial contacts to identify relevant projects and connect Barozzi directly to these opportunities.” Tor Einar Norbakk, CEO Svenska Aerogel.
