    Sweco (NASDAQ: SWEC-B) delivers a solid third quarter with continued efficiency improvements. Net sales grew 6 per cent and EBITA increased 5 per cent, adjusted for calendar. The EBITA margin improved to 8.7 per cent. The positive performance is driven by higher fees and improved billing ratio. Overall demand for Sweco’s services was good in the energy, water, infrastructure, defence and security segments, as well as in parts of the industry segment.     Sweco to design one of Europe’s largest battery energy storage systems in Belgium

    Sweco will design one of continental Europe’s largest battery parks, Green Turtle, for the energy storage company GIGA Storage Belgium. This facility will have a storage capacity of 2,800 MWh of electricity. The park will make a significant contribution to the energy grid by providing stored renewable energy during periods of low solar and wind energy production — thereby reducing Belgium’s reliance on gas power plants.     Sweco wins SEK 400 million contract from the Swedish Transport Administration for project planning of a new railway along parts of the East Coast Line between Uppsala and Stockholm

    Sweco will assist the Swedish Transport Administration with various consulting services to enable an extensive expansion of stretches of the East Coast Line between Uppsala and Stockholm.     Sweco to build Helsinki’s first green hydrogen production plant

    Finnish energy company Helen has selected Sweco as EPCM partner in the implementation of its first production plant for green hydrogen. Production of hydrogen is set to start in 2026, with the aim of supplying the heavy-duty transport sector.     Sweco (NASDAQ: SWEC-B) reports a year of robust growth driven by the ongoing green transition and consolidates its position as Europe’s leading architecture and engineering consultancy. Total Net Sales amounted to SEK 29 billion (EUR 2.5 billion) and the order book remains strong with 22,000 experts working closely with clients in 150,000 ongoing projects.Sales increased 17 per cent to SEK 28.5 billion and EBITA increased 18 per cent to SEK 2.5 billion.
