United Spaces has signed an agreement with Swedavia for a long-term collaboration on the Office One complex adjacent to Stockholm Arlanda’s terminal buildings. Beginning in March 2019, modern co-working offices for modern workplaces will available with easy access to the rest of the world.

The SkyCity Office One complex at Stockholm Arlanda Airport is 15,000 square metres in size, ten storeys high and located immediately adjacent to the airport’s international Terminal 5 and domestic Terminal 4. The property will now be a unique co-working venue that United Spaces, one of the leading Nordic co-working companies, will operate on Swedavia’s behalf.

“The office property market is undergoing a global transformation, with technology and new forms of work changing our demands for offices. Co-working spaces bridge the property owner’s requirements for long leases and the tenant’s desire for short leases and flexible solutions,” says Göran Garberg, CEO of United Spaces Network Offices AB.

“Stockholm Arlanda Airport is poised to become the leading meeting place in the Nordic region for business meetings and conferences. The airport is a unique place to establish a growing business based on the future way of working – open, international, flexible and with a focus on meetings between people. So we are really pleased that United Spaces has chosen to set up operations and offer its office solution at Stockholm Arlanda Airport,” says Karl Wistrand, CEO of Swedavia Real Estate AB.

Stockholm Arlanda is the gateway to the dynamic, rapidly expanding Stockholm-Uppsala region and the meeting place that connects the region to the world. In the long term, the airport will also be the place that links the region together as a mass transit hub. As Stockholm continues to grow, the lack of land for offices and housing in the inner city and adjacent areas will become even more apparent. Swedavia is meeting the need for modern offices and meeting places with efficient transport links.

The first step in the continued expansion of the airport’s part of Airport City Stockholm consists of the Office One complex, which will be inaugurated soon and has total floor space of 15,000 m2 with the best location in close proximity to the terminal buildings at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
