    In January, demand for air travel was stable, despite uncertainties such as the global situation, economic uncertainty and personal finances. International travel continued to increase during the month, which mainly benefited our major airports but also Luleå Airport. Domestic travel, on the other hand, continues to show a weaker trend. Although there are significant uncertainties, we expect increased traffic and a greater range of routes at our airports later this spring and during the summer. At the same time, there are signs that the economic situation will improve somewhat in the period ahead, which is also likely to increase demand for air travel.

    Swedavia's passengers and employees donate nearly SEK 3 million to the Swedish Red Cross

    Passengers, employees and other partners at Swedavia’s ten airports raised more than SEK 2.8 million in 2023 for the Swedish Red Cross, an increase of SEK 1.1 million compared to last year.     Swedavia’s traffic statistics for November 2023

    In November, Swedavia's airports had nearly 2.4 million passengers, which is a 1 per cent increase compared to November last year. International travel, mainly at Stockholm Arlanda but also at Göteborg Landvetter, continued to drive the trend, but demand weakened somewhat.     A number of shops and restaurants will open at Stockholm Arlanda this autumn as the first stage of the Market Place is completed.
