Grab ’n go or take a seat and eat while enjoying the best view at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The restaurant Eatery in Terminal 5 now is open.

Next to Gate 16 in Terminal 5, restaurant guests can take a seat at Eatery and enjoy a variety of dishes that work for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Meanwhile, they will also have the best view at Arlanda. People can look out the window right into the cockpits of planes parked outside. Guests sit so close they can even see when the crew is doing their pre-flight check.

At Eatery, which opened its doors on May 17, dishes with clear Mediterranean influences are served. There are main courses for people who want to treat themselves to something extra as well as classic options such as salads, pizza and burgers. But at Eatery, some thought has also been given to people in a hurry who want to quickly get something tasty for their journey – a Grab´n Go assortment. You take your food from the display chiller and go to a self-service till, pay and save time.

“SSP and Eatery have together developed a unique combination of knowledge about food and drinks as well as about service and logistics. We see great potential for a new brand setting up operations at Arlanda that suit all kinds of passengers and with on-trend food and drinks. We are therefore delighted to present Eatery as a new addition to our brand portfolio. I am convinced that it will be a success – a unique oasis and meeting place at Arlanda where people can take the first step on their journey out into the world,” says Björn Olsson, Managing Director of SSP Sweden.

Naturally, Eatery also offers a wide assortment of drinks, so if you simply want something to drink your glass or a coffee break, you have also come to the right place.

Eatery is one a of a number of new restaurants coming to Arlanda. A new large security checkpoint and a marketplace that brings together shops and restaurants are now being built at the airport. The marketplace, with its 11,000 square metres of well-planned space, features a design and physical setting with a clear Nordic touch in terms of functional solutions, choice of materials and décor.

“There is a pent-up need to travel, meet relatives or good friends, experience a new country or visit customers, and we see how travel has picked up speed again. Along with that comes the need for more operators in the range of restaurants and shops at our airports. At Arlanda a lot will be happening going forward. Our passengers will encounter a new airport, with an attractive assortment of retail options,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales at Swedavia.

In the new marketplace, there will be restaurants for every palate, with everything from fine dining and fast food to locally produced food. A large selection of shops, services and showrooms offering the best in Swedish and international fashion and design will be brought together in modern, airy spaces.
