Stockholm - Hong Kong non-stop route announced today

SAS announced today they will start flying non-stop between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Hong Kong. The direct route between the two destinations will offer more possibilities for travelers to and from Asia.

Hong Kong is one of the most popular destinations in Asia and it is not offered at Stockholm Arlanda Airport today. About 160 Swedish companies are established in the Hong Kong region and the airport is also the world's largest cargo airport.

- Swedish accessibility need to be strengthened to attract investment and visitors, create jobs and increase growth across the country. This type of investment is necessary for Sweden to compete internationally, says Torborg Chetkovich, CEO of Swedavia.

SAS will start servicing Stockholm – Hong Kong in September 2015 and will fly five times weekly.
