Stockholm Arlanda’s first buffet restaurant to open its doors
Taste by Nordrest will be unique at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, with its concept of providing high-quality buffets for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between. Taste by Nordrest is one of a number of new outlets opening up at Arlanda.
Taste by Nordrest, which opened May 22, is located next to Gate 6 in Terminal 5 and is the first food outlet to offer a buffet concept. It will serve an all-day-long solution for breakfast, lunch, dinner and takeaway, centred on a high-quality buffet. At Taste by Nordrest, passengers will also find vegan, vegetarian and lactose-free alternatives.
The restaurant’s buffet will include an assortment of well-prepared dishes with flavours from Scandinavia and the rest of the world. There will be more than a dozen different salads and six different hot dishes to choose from, and to roundoff the meal soft ice cream will always be on offer. Everything is included in the buffet price.
“We are pleased and excited to be able to offer a food concept that is unique for Arlanda, where we will provide enjoyable meal experiences to the airport’s passengers and employees,” says Michael Bühring, CEO of Taste by Nordrest.
Taste by Nordrest is one of many new outlets that will be setting up operations at Arlanda. There is a lot of construction under way right now, and when everything is finished, there will be a brand-new security checkpoint and a large, inviting marketplace, where a number of new shops, restaurant and bars will open in 2023 and 2024.
“We welcome Taste by Nordrest, a brand-new operator with a unique concept, to Arlanda. It will be one of many new operations opening up at the airport, which together with the refurbishments we are carrying out, such as a new security checkpoint and marketplace, will contribute to a more modern, attractive airport enviroment,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Sales at Swedavia.
