The Swedencare production facility, located in Waterford, Ireland, has been awarded the International Product and Process quality certification - GMP+FC

“We are delighted to announce the ‘GMP+ B8’ accreditation of our Irish Production Premises based in Waterford. This certification will be an invaluable asset to assist the Commercial and Marketing functions of the Company as a whole. The accreditation gives Customers the assurance that our Company has met demonstrable standards of feed safety, such as standards relating to a feed safety management system, the application of HACCP principles, for traceability & monitoring. It also gives confidence that our total Supply Chain has a Feed Safety Assurance system that is certified; from our materials purchasing, logistics, documentation, manufacturing processes and facility”.

Based on needs in practice, multiple components have been integrated into the GMP+ FSA module, such as requirements for the quality management system (ISO 9001), HACCP, product standards, traceability, monitoring, prerequisites programs, chain approach and the Early Warning System.
