Automotive Interiors Leader Faurecia Licenses TactoTek® Injection Molded Structural Electronics (IMSE™)
Faurecia to design and manufacture IMSE solutions
OULU, FINLAND/MERU, FRANCE (19 December 2018) – Today, TactoTek® announced that Faurecia, one of the world’s leading automotive technology companies, has signed a licensing agreement to design and manufacture IMSE solutions for its automotive customers.

While IMSE is disruptive technology that transforms how electronics are designed and built, by licensing its technology TactoTek supports the long-standing business relationships between OEMs and their suppliers. TactoTek’s primary business model is licensing its IMSE technology to manufacturers who have the direct relationship with brands/OEMs. Each licensee differentiates their IMSE-based solutions in the marketplace with specific target use cases as well as their unique approach to industrial design, styling, integration and surface treatments.
IMSE technology transfer to licensees is a close partnership and hands-on process tailored to each licensee’s capabilities and business intent. TactoTek develops custom training programs for each licensee to transfer the technology and know-how for them to become IMSE Ready—prepared to independently design and manufacture IMSE solutions.
