Adventure travel pioneer offers guided tour of Turkey
Unique opportunity to join adventure travel pioneers, Kurt and Anne Kutay, on an adventure tour of Turkey
Adventure travel pioneer and founder of Wildland Adventures, Kurt Kutay has added a second departure to his wildly successful 25th anniversary special adventure tour to Turkey. The Wildland Turquoise Coast Odyssey adventure will run from Sep. 21 - Oct. 7, 2012.
Wildland founder, Kutay and with his wife Anne will accompany the group on this special 25th anniversary tour in Istanbul and through Cappadocia. The adventure tour then continues along the Turquoise Coast, sailing in a traditional Turkish gulet. Kutay, an American of Turkish descent has been traveling to Turkey since the 1960s, when he first went to Istanbul for the summer with his family. “Anne and I are so excited to accompany two groups of Wildland travellers as we explore this fascinating country at the crossroads between continents and cultures,” says Kutay.
The tour will be guided by one of Wildland’s Turkish guides, who will share their personal insights into history, political affairs, and everyday life while connecting the group with the local people encountered along the way. “Our principal guide and in-country manager, Alper Ertubey, is like a brother in my family, and when you travel with us, you too will be treated like family,” says Kutay.
For Kutay, family is at the core of Wildland Adventures. “We are a family run business, and we plan your family adventures as if they were our own.” Readers can learn more about Kutay’s reflections on his Turkish heritage on his blog about adventure vacations to Turkey.
