Social Media Camp announces stellar lineup of keynote speakers for business professional development conference

How do you keep yourself and your business abreast of all the changes and ensure your media campaigns are vibrant and effective? Driven by business needs, the organizers of Social Media Camp – Canada’s fastest growing digital media conference – have gathered three leaders in the social media field as keynote speakers to provide industry insights, personal reflections and trends.

Social media is full of reports of activity for 2012 and predictions for 2013. The Social Media Report 2012, released by Nielsen and NM Incite, confirms what we know instinctively – social media has transformed the way that consumers across the globe make purchase decisions. And, social media gurus like Jay Baer, co-author of the Now Revolution argue that social media helps businesses respond faster, work smarter and simply present your business to consumers in an authentic manner. Business experts agree that social media is now a must have, not a nice to have.

Attendees of the fourth annual Social Media Camp (May 6 - 8, 2013) will learn from the knowledge, passion and expertise of these three speakers:

Scott Monty - Global Digital & Multimedia Communications Manager, Ford Motor Company

Forbes refers to Monty as probably the highest-ranking social media professional in any publicly traded company. A recognized thought leader and frequent keynote speaker, Monty has been featured in hundreds of news and business publications in print and on the web, in dozens of books, and on a variety of mainstream media, including NBC, NPR, CNN and The Wall Street Journal.

Scott Monty will speak  on corporate use of social media, how to become an online spokesperson, and more specifically about his work at Ford and FordSocial.
