Author Quote:
When we think of hi-tech buildings we do not often think of wood, but we should. Its performance characteristics are unmatched--powerful structurally, aesthetically and environmentally. Solid wood architecture, for these reasons and many more, will have an increasingly important role to play in this century’s rural and urban landscapes.
