Supporting authors: Taylor & Francis Group re-launch their online Author Services

Report this content

Today sees the re-launch of Taylor & Francis Group’s Author Services website, with new resources for all researchers looking to publish a journal article.

With information on choosing a journal, writing a paper, what to expect during peer review and production, as well as what to think about once you’re published, the website guides researchers through the journal publishing process from initial idea to post-publication. It includes details on a host of different topics, including ethics in journal publishing, open access publishing for Taylor & Francis and Routledge authors, article promotion, and what to expect during peer review. The website includes videos and infographics, as well as step-by-step instructions to aid researchers as they take their first steps into authoring a journal article.

While some of the areas covered are aimed specifically at researchers looking to publish in a Taylor & Francis or Routledge journal, there is also much which will be of interest to anyone who wants to learn more about the journal publishing process, and what to expect as they move through it.

“We’re excited to be re-launching Taylor & Francis Group’s online support for journal authors, which has been developed with the input of researchers from around the world. Their comments and advice at the very start of this process has been invaluable, shaping the style and content of the site to ensure it addresses the needs of the global author community we work with. We look forward to seeing the feedback we receive from researchers, as they use the resources available and as we add to them over the course of the next few months.”
