The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists will now publish with Routledge, Taylor and Francis Group
The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and Routledge, Taylor and Francis Group are delighted to announce that the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists will be moving into a partnership with Routledge, part of the Taylor and Francis Group, effective January 1, 2016.
Today, the rise in geo-political tensions between the West and Russia, ongoing international environmental debates on climate change, and new terrorist threats all mean that the issues published in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists are as relevant now as they were in 1945, when the journal was founded by former Manhattan Project physicists after the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
A top ranked journal in the International Relations and Social Studies categories with a 2014 Impact Factor* of 0.690, The Bulletin is a prestigious and internationally recognisable brand, and includes the iconic Doomsday Clock, recognized as a universal symbol of threats to humanity and currently set at 3 minutes to midnight.

Current content as well as archive content from the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists is now available to access on Taylor and Francis Online, with the latest issue (November/December) freely available until the end of January 2016. The first issue published by Routledge will be available on January 11, 2016. It will focus on nuclear power in the Middle East and includes analysis by the Bulletin’s Bronson on recent power shifts in the Middle East, a look at nuclear energy and desalination in Israel by Or Rabinowitz, an exploration of Iran and multinational enrichment opportunities by Ali Ahmad and Ryan Snyder, and an interview with Prince Turki al-Faisal on Saudi Arabia energy and Middle East politics.
