COMPETITION HOTS UP FOR ANNUAL TCS&D AWARDS

16 March 2015The third annual TCS&D Awards promises to be the most competitive yet, with a waiting list already in place to attend the presentation ceremony later this year. Winners of the popular awards will be announced at the Peterborough Arena on 16th September following the first day of the TCS&D Show, held in conjunction with the Food Storage & Distribution Federation (FSDF) and the British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF). The number of nominations received last year increased by 30 per cent, and organisers are hoping to see a similar rise in 2015 across the 17 award categories.

15 January 2015The UK’s increasing appetite for food and drink will make this September’s TCS&D Show at the Peterborough Arena the largest yet, say event organisers, pointing to the huge importance of the sector at the heart of the logistics industry. Office for National Statistics estimates for January - October 2014(1) showed the quantity of food and drink bought in the UK increased by more than three per cent year-on-year, continuing a pattern of growth stretching back more than a decade.
