Change in the number of shares and votes in Tele2

Stockholm – Tele2 AB (“Tele2”) (Nasdaq Stockholm: TEL2 A and TEL2 B) today announced that the total number of shares and votes in Tele2 have increased by 2,200,000 shares and votes, respectively.

The change relates to 2,200,000 class C shares issued in March 2022.

In connection with the share issue, 2,480,000 class C shares have been reclassified to class B shares to enable delivery of class B shares to participants in Tele2’s retention and performance based incentive programme for senior executives and other key employees. 

As of 31 March 2022, the total number of shares in Tele2 amounts to 695,021,597 of which 22,551,882 are class A shares with ten votes each, 670,269,715 are class B shares with one vote each and 2,200,000 are class C shares with one vote each. The total number of votes in Tele2 amounts to 897,988,535. The total number of votes in Tele2, excluding 2,912,106 class B shares and 2,200,000 class C shares held in treasury, amounts to 892,876,429.
