Changes in the Tele2 Netherlands Management Team
Stockholm - Tele2 AB (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B) today announced that Günther Vogelpoel, Executive Vice President and CEO of Tele2 Netherlands, has decided to leave the company. Ernst Jan van Rooijen, CFO of Tele2 Netherlands, has been appointed Acting CEO of Tele2 Netherlands, effective as of today. He will become member of the Tele2 AB Leadership Team until a replacement has been recruited.
Günther Vogelpoel joined Tele2 in 1999 and has held several senior positions within marketing, sales, customer operations and worked both for Tele2 Netherlands and Pan-European for Tele2 Group. He held the position as CEO of Tele2 Netherlands and EVP of the Tele2 Group since early 2011.
