Tele2 Sweden acquires more shares in Levicom Broadband
New York and Stockholm - December 28, 2001 - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2", "the Group") (Nasdaq Stock Market: TLTOA and TLTOB and Stockholmsbörsen: TEL2A and TEL2B), the leading alternative pan-European telecommunications company, today announces that Tele2 Sweden has increased its share ownership of Levicom Broadband from 60% to 100% by acquiring a 40% stake from Levicom International. Levicom Broadband operates fixed telephony and internet in Estonia as well as cable TV in Estonia and Lithuania.
