TELE2 USES ITS OWN NETWORK TO OFFER FIXED TELEPHONY IN DENMARK

Stockholm – Tele2 AB, (“Tele2”), (Stockholmsbörsen: TEL2A and TEL2B), the leading alternative pan-European telecommunications company, today announces that following the successful acquisition of Tiscali in February 2005, Tele2 in Denmark is now able to offer both traditional fixed telephony and ADSL using its own network, at significantly lower prices than its competitors.

The Danes are the first Tele2 customers in Europe to have the opportunity to subscribe to an integrated ADSL and traditional fixed telephony product, which is entirely administrated by Tele2. This enables Tele2 to offer the telephony subscription at 42% below TDC. The service is currently available to 65% of Danish households.
