Terveystalo expands its rehabilitation services by acquiring Suomen Fysiogeriatria Oy and its subsidiaries

Terveystalo acquires Suomen Fysiogeriatria Oy, which provides physiotherapy and occupational therapy, and its subsidiaries; toi.minna Oy, Mimmin terapia Oy and Aktiivi-Fysioterapia Tampere Oy, with an agreement dated on 31 March 2022.

 

Fysiogeriatria Oy is a Finnish pioneer and forerunner in the rehabilitation of the elderly people and treating patients with dementia. The Group offers specialized physiotherapy, preventive and rehabilitative physiotherapy as well as occupational therapy services. The Group employs 40 occupational therapists and 100 physiotherapists, the majority of whom are specialists in geriatric physiotherapy. The Group provides services to the private, public and third sectors and the combined revenue in 2021 was EUR 6 million. The acquisition supports Terveystalo's goal to strengthen its service portfolio in growing specialties, including various rehabilitation and therapy services.
