Terveystalo grows in well-being services – Saimaan Urheilufysioterapia Oy becomes part of Terveystalo

Terveystalo continues to grow its well-being service offering by acquiring Saimaan Urheilufysioterapia Oy with an agreement dated on 30 September 2022.

Saimaan Urheilufysioterapia Oy, founded in 2019, offers e.g. physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, massage and coaching services at two locations in Lappeenranta and Imatra. 11 professionals work at Saimaa Urheilufysioterapia Oy, and the company's revenue in the fiscal year 04/2022 was approximately EUR 0.55 million.

"In the merger, Saimaan Urheilufysioterapia Oy will become part of Terveystalo, which is a leading player in health services both in terms of revenue and network. This opens up new opportunities for the development of rehabilitation services. Especially for the region's top athletes and exercisers, the combination enables seamless treatment chains and preventive coaching," says Jussi Markkanen, CEO of Saimaan Urheilufysioterapia Oy.

All persons employed by the company will transfer to Terveystalo as former employees and operations will continue in the current premises.
