Military families go through a lot of stress of having to constantly move around the country, and often endure many sacrifices. Operation Homefront is a non-profit organization that honors outstanding military kids with its Military Child of the Year award. Operation Homefront helps military families with food and moving assistance, home and auto repair, transportation, vision care, and more. Show host Kristy Villa will interview the winner of the award, 17-year-old Nicole Daly, on a “Family Ties” segment of The Balancing Act®.
