Pompano Beach, FL, October 03, 2013 -- CISION)-- Popular morning show The Balancing Act® airing on Lifetime TV welcomes the CommonGround to the show. The company will be making its appearance in a “Family Ties” segment slated to air in December 2013.

Common Ground is a grass-roots program to foster conversation among women – on farms and in cities about where our food comes from and the value of modern production agriculture. A CommonGround volunteer who farms in Iowa will be on set to talk about the program and issues consumers may have concerning GMO crops, biotechnology used to grow food and how this differs from organic production.

“We’re looking forward to having one of the women who actually grows the food on our tables discuss with our Balancing Act viewers this important topic that affects everyone,” says Doug Campbell, Executive VP of Programming for The Balancing Act® on Lifetime TV.
