The Camping and Caravanning Club has joined forces with leading camping equipment retailer GO Outdoors to offer Club members an extra 10% discount on its ranges, and provide savings for GO Outdoors customers on Club Sites.

The new partnership between the Club and GO Outdoors will enable members who have an existing GO Outdoors discount card – available for £5 – to take advantage of this major extra discount both in store and online*.

Simply download a voucher to use in store, or for those shopping online visit the Club’s website to take advantage of the member-only discount code at http://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/membership/benefits/shop-offers/discounts/

What’s more, anyone buying a tent from GO Outdoors can take advantage of five nights’ camping for the price of three on UK Club Sites, whether they’re Club members or not.

GO Outdoors was founded back in 1969 as the Camping and Caravanning Centre, with a focus on supplying trailer tents and quality camping furniture. In the 1980s it expanded its offering to include camping equipment such as barbecues, and in 2004 rebranded as GO Outdoors.

Today, GO Outdoors has some 53 stores around Britain, with dedicated departments for walking, climbing, cycling, fishing and even skiing, as well as camping and caravanning.

The Camping and Caravanning Club was founded in 1901 and today operates 109 campsites around the UK, many within a few miles of a GO Outdoors store.

GO Outdoors will give away a copy of the Club’s Free Sites Guide with every purchase made through its website, www.gooutdoors.co.uk, and the Southampton store until the end of September.

Chris Matthews, CEO at Go Outdoors, said:  “We are very excited about this new partnership with the Club. Encouraging people to spend more time exploring the Outdoors is at the heart of what we do, so we are very happy to have joined forces with such an influential organisation.”

Robert Louden MBE, the Club’s Director General, said: “The Club represents more than 500,000 campers, caravanners and motorcaravanners, and we know that a large number of them already enjoy shopping at GO Outdoors superstores.

“This partnership is a great fit: we’re delighted to join forces with such a significant outdoor retailer, to offer Club members even greater discounts on their fantastic range of products available. And we look forward to welcoming Go Outdoors’ customers onto our Club sites after purchasing their first tent.”

*A GO Outdoors Discount Card is required. Discount Cards are available in store and online for just £5 per year. Not to be used in conjunction with Price Guarantee, SALE, Clearance, WOW Deals, multi-buys, bundles, or any other offer. Does not include Gift Vouchers, Discount Card purchases, or gas hire charges.
