Surely This Can't Happen to Honest, Hardworking Single Parents?

Mark Stone, from Sherwood Arkansas, had a normal life. He married his young sweetheart and they had two beautiful daughters together. He was living what was the perfect life to him.  It all started to crash when his young wife left, leaving him with custody of his two young daughters.

Mark, as devastated as he was, took the bull by the horns and took on the role of single Father.  Mark worked hard, he took the girls into his work at night as a maintenance man for a local hotel.  He would put them in an unoccupied room, in front of the television, feed them and help them with homework on his breaks as he earned a living.

Eventually Mark moved on, found and married another woman and bought a piece of property and a home.  Unfortunately, she wasn't the women he thought she was and Mark left the house and filed for Divorce. While Mark was out of the house, it mysteriously burned down.  It was then that Mark found out that his Homeowner's insurance had lapsed.

Out of desperation, Mark had no option but to leave the girls with their Mother, uprouting them from their friends, school and everything they knew, so that he could drive truck across the country to make enough money to get them back together again. The ending, however would not be a happy one. Mark was in a serious accident in the Semi, leaving him injured and unable to work, with the company fighting him on a settlement.

During his fight to get his life back together and get his girls back into a stable home with him, Mark discovered that his best friend of 28 years, Mark Ritter, was diagnosed with Cancer. While fighting his own battles, Mark selflessly drove his best friend to treatment after treatment, giving him comfort and support while he fought his battle. Mark's lifelong friend lost his battle with Cancer October 20th, 2013, leaving Mark even more devastated.

This hardworking, loving, single father needs a break.  We are fundraising for him so he can provide a stable roof over his head for he and his two daughters.  Mark needs help with getting electricity back to his property, he needs fill dirt to address a drainage issue and he needs help with the septic system so it will pass code.  We are trying to raise $11,000 which should cover the expenses and hopefully have enough left over for a small trailer and some living essentials.

We would be grateful for any professionals who could donate services, labor or anything else to help meet this goal in Sherwood Arkansas.  The fundraising page to donate financially is http://gfwd.at/1aJX6XM
