About Us

Started by a group of politically engaged emerging leaders in their of 20’s and 30’s, The Young & Powerful Group played an incredible role in President Barack Obama’s historical bid for presidency. A generation of young professionals from more than 15 cities seized ownership and collectively raised over $250,000 towards the 2008 and 2012 campaigns. The organization will continue to use this same energy as a professional development, community building, and political engagement tool to set a new standard in mobilizing emerging leaders to effectuate change.
