The expanded facility will manufacture new high-end shock absorbers for the North American automotive market.

"This is a great day for Bilstein, Butler County and the community of Hamilton," said Schmahl. "As we move forward with the expansion of our facility, I'd like to personally thank Governor Kasich, Lieutenant Governor Taylor, their staff and all the state and local officials for their support on this endeavor.”

He continued: “Expanding our plant here is good news for the site, employees and the region. This investment is a vote of confidence in our facility and ability to successfully compete in the highly competitive automotive marketplace. There's no question we made the right choice coming to Hamilton with this project."
