Michael Jakobi appointed as Chief Executive Officer for Rehadapt
Rehadapt, a fully owned and independent subsidiary of Tobii Dynavox, today announced that it has appointed Michael Jakobi as Chief Executive Officer. He will assume the role from May 1, 2024.
In his role as CEO, Michael Jakobi will be responsible for leading the global operations of Rehadapt, setting the company up for continued growth. In close collaboration with Tobii Dynavox, he will drive the development of an integrated solutions offering and the commercialization of products to make our customers even more successful. Michael Jakobi will report to Tobii Dynavox's Chief Commercial Officer, Caroline Henricson, and there will be a gradual handover of responsibilities from the current CEO Uli Ehlert to be completed by the end of the summer.
Michael Jakobi is an experienced business leader within the healthcare and medical technology sectors. He has extensive experience as CEO and Managing Director of companies with an international reach, developing and implementing business growth strategies. In addition, he has a deep understanding of the regional healthcare eco systems in the DACH region, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Most recently, Michael Jakobi was the CEO of the German wholesale and services group Pluradent Group.
Michael Jakobi holds a master’s degree in engineering from the Technical University of Wilhelmshaven, and he will be based at the Rehadapt head office in Kassel, Germany.
