Finnish Red Cross and Tokmanni enter into cooperation

The cooperation between the Finnish Red Cross and Tokmanni will begin with the Hunger Day collection organised in September and continue for a minimum of two years.
The aim of the cooperation is to promote the well-being of people and communities and to reduce loneliness and social exclusion. Tokmanni will support the Finnish Red Cross’s friend visitor activities and participate in efforts to combat loneliness throughout the cooperation period. Tokmanni is also one of the Finnish Red Cross’s partners in the Hunger Day collection.
This year’s Hunger Day collection will be held from 26 to 28 September. The Hunger Day collection raises funds for the Finnish Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, from which aid can be quickly allocated to where it is most needed, be it in Finland or abroad.
Both the Finnish Red Cross and Tokmanni have a local presence in over hundred locations around Finland.
