Profit warning: Tokmanni weakens its guidance for 2022

The decline in consumer confidence and purchasing power have made customer’s purchasing behaviour clearly more cautious. Weakened purchasing power and customer’s uncertainty have directly impacted in consumer demand. As a result, Tokmanni changes its outlook and guidance for 2022.

New outlook and guidance for 2022

In 2022, Tokmanni expects the revenue to be at the previous year’s level. Comparable EBIT measured in euros is expected to be EUR 90–110 million in 2022. The forecast includes elements of uncertainty, which depend on the development of inflation, interest rates, the war in Ukraine, the COVID-19 pandemic and the effects of these.

Previous outlook and guidance for 2022 issued by Tokmanni on 11 February 2022

For 2022, Tokmanni forecasts an increase in revenue and comparable EBIT in euros. The forecast is subject to uncertainties due to the development of the corona pandemic and its effects.

In 2021, Tokmanni's revenue was EUR 1,141.8 million and comparable EBIT was EUR 105.7 million.

Tokmanni will publish its business review for the first quarter of 2022 on Friday 29 April 2022.
