Tokmanni Group’s Click Shoes chain expands its store network in Pirkanmaa – New store is opening in the centre of Tampere

The Click Shoes chain, which Tokmanni Group acquired just under a year ago, will open a new store in the Koskikeskus shopping centre in the centre of Tampere by the end of April. After this, Click Shoes will have three shoe stores in Tampere, all offering a diverse product range. In addition to signing the contract for the new store in Tampere, Click Shoes closed its outlet store in the Elo shopping centre in Ylöjärvi in January due to the expiry of its lease.
The newest store in Finland’s largest shoe chain Click Shoes, will serve its customers at an excellent location on the first floor of the Koskikeskus shopping centre on Hatanpään valtatie 1. The new store will have around 350 square metres of space.
“We have already gained very good experiences of selling shoes and serving customers in Tampere. We believe there is scope for strengthening our shoe offering in the city centre. We are already looking forward to April and the opening of our new Click Shoes store in the centrally located Koskikeskus shopping centre,” says Hanna Ahola, Managing Director of Click Shoes.
The Koskikeskus shopping centre is a very familiar location for Tokmanni Group. The Vapaa Valinta discount retail chain, which joined Tokmanni Group in 2004, served its customers in the Koskikeskus building, known for its glass domes, from the opening of the shopping centre in 1988 until early 2012. Later in 2012, Tokmanni opened a store bearing its own brand name.
The other Click Shoes stores in Tampere are located in Lielahti and in the city centre on Hämeenkatu.
Comprehensive assortment of footwear and professional service
The Click Shoes shoe chain sells footwear from many international brands, including Skechers, Rieker, Musse&Cloud, Bugatti, Tamaris and Pegada. The stores also have a wide range of products from 2Moons, Click Shoes’ private label, as well as shoe care and maintenance products from Springyard.
According to Ahola, Click Shoes focuses on professional service, good value for money and practicality.
“We are very familiar with the needs and expectations of our customers, and we are happy to help them choose the right footwear. Our wide assortment includes a wide range of shoes for different needs, such as trainers for casual use and court shoes and dress shoes for special occasions.”
Three or four retail professionals will be hired for the new Click Shoes store in Tampere.
Click Shoes offers a range of footwear from internationally known brands such as: Skechers, Rieker, Musse&Cloud, Bugatti, Tamaris and Pegada. The shoe store chain also has a brand of its own: 2Moons. Click Shoes is the largest shoe store chain in Finland in terms of the size of its store network. With the opening of the new store in Koskikeskus in Tampere, Click Shoes and the Shoe House store chain, which was also acquired by Tokmanni in March 2023, will have a total of 31 stores across Finland. Two of these are Shoe House stores.
Last year, Click Shoes opened three new stores. The most recent store openings were celebrated in Kotka in May, Hyvinkää in September and Lahti in October. Earlier this month, Click Shoes closed its outlet store in the Elo shopping centre in Ylöjärvi due to the expiry of its lease.
Click Shoes also has an online store. Many products familiar from the Click Shoes and Shoe House stores are also available in the Tokmanni online store and in the around 120 Tokmanni stores across Finland.
